What Happened Here?
We have learned that a second person has died in a crash that happened recently on 67th Avenue near Lower Buckeye Road. According to police, the crash happened at about 7:40 pm on May 6.
Reports say that a Lincoln Navigator was driving north on 67th when it crossed over the painted median into oncoming traffic. The Navigator collided with a Chevy Sonic and then a Chevy Tahoe.
The driver of the Navigator was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries. The driver of the Sonic was also killed in the crash. Four other people were injured in the crash but none of the injuries were life-threatening.
The cause of this crash is still under investigation.
